Content of her speech at the Congress:

This presentation will discuss the link between stress and bowel function as documented in the scientific literature. John Cryan, a neuropharmacologist and microbiome expert from the University College Cork in Ireland is conducting fascinating research about how our thoughts and emotions are connected to our guts. Dr. Cryan is also isolating how specific probiotic strains are assisting with individual mood disorders.  Experimental trials in his lab have shown that mice who are subjected to maternal separation have lower cortisol stress markers when given probiotic supplementation. The neurological connection to the gut is based on 90% of vagus nerve fibers that carry information from the gut up to the head and back down. Optimal digestive function is based on the perception of safety, called neuroception.

Content of his speech at the Congress:

This presentation will feature important information on the embryological development of the intestines. Specific information on the mesenteric arteries and their relationship to the large intestine will be explored. It is now known that maternal stress during the prenatal time of life can generate lifelong chronic problems with digestion, nutrition and absorption especially in the colon. Participants will learn that current problems with the intestines have a long history and suggestions will be made on how to implement changes while practicing colon hydrotherapy to overcome some of these challenges.

David Granizo BermejoDAVID GRANIZO BERMEJO b-espana

David Granizo Bermejo is trained in Osteopathy, Naturopathy, Chiropractic, Herbal Medicine and Nutrition and Dietetics from the Real Centro Universitario (Royal University) María Cristina.

He pioneered the use and modernization of colon hydrotherapy as a tool within the protocol of intestinal purification and regulation with surprising and beneficial results.

In 2010 he created and developed a new way to practice and perform colon hydrotherapy with which, to distinguish from the classic colon hydrotherapy (Maurice De Langenhagen, 1898), he denominated the modern colon hydrotherapy. Modern colon hydrotherapy refutes all existing theories of classic colon hydrotherapy, first developing existing technologies and create, record and develop new techniques for the practice of this, provides a new method and way of working, and presents the first study in the world in colon hydrotherapy called “study of intestinal microbiology applied to colon hydrotherapy”.

He is president of the Spanish Association for Colon Hydrotherapy (AEHC) and head of the Scientific Commission of Hidrocolon Professional Association of Natural Therapies (APTN-COFENAT). He also teaches colon hydrotherapy and is associate professor of Transcom performing professional courses and conferences around the world with his own revolutionary method. Is author of the books “Homotoxicología, depuración e hidroterapia de colon“ (Homotoxicology, Treatment and Colon Hydrotherapy), published in October 2012, and ” Tratado de hidroterapia de colon” (Treaty of Colon Hydrotherapy), published in 2016, the first international treaty on the subject. He is director of the Advanced Institute of Holistic Health in Madrid (Spain).

Content of his speech at the Congress:

During the years 2014 and 2015, D. David Granizo Bermejo in collaboration with the laboratory Soria Natural conducted the first study of intestinal microbiology applied to colon hydrotherapy. But… a study of this magnitude was necessary? Since the 80s, critics and eulogists discussed and analysed since the belief or misinformation, creating more confusion or disinterest. Rigorously wanting to apply rigor to the issue and end the speculations, D. David Granizo Bermejo decided to obtain a rigorous and scientific basis for therapy, to carry out the aforementioned study.

The conference will address a didactic development study, exclusions and inclusions, instructions, microorganisms analysed, results, and conclusions and analysis obtained by the biological, medical and statistical team. In short, it will be demonstrated empirically and analytically for the first time, if colon hydrotherapy is completely harmless, damages the intestinal flora or otherwise is beneficial.

Content of her speech at the Congress:

Relationship from the gestation of the large intestine to the brain.

Colon Hydrotherapy “cleans” concerns.

Cleaning of the large intestine literally cleans negative emotions: anxiety, sadness, depression …

That’s right; the intestine not only evacuates the remains of food that the body cannot digest, but is also responsible for evacuating the excess hormones of emotions: serotonin, acetylcholine, noradrenaline, gamma-aminobutyric acid (GABA)…

The intestine, as it can loosen and eliminate bad food, may also have problems to evacuate hormones, causing them to accumulate and give rise to emotional disorders.

Arrigo_DianinDR. ARRIGO DIANIN b-italia

I graduated in Medicine and Surgery in1986 at the University of Padova.

I attended the first school of Cardiology of the same University and soon, after a brief internship, I decided, to give a different imprint to my work, that my professional activity should be directed towards the correction of nutritional habits, considering it a prerequisite for the recovery of physical and mental health. Driven from personal experience, I turned to the study of diet and all natural methods that can prevent and cure diseases.

Phytotherapy, that is, medical treatment based on the active ingredients contained in plants, has occupied much ofmy time, both in research and in partnership with several Italian companies, and with direct clinical application on patients.

I participated in the clinical study of plants in cultural medicine belonging to Latin America, Asia and Africa, presenting the resultsat several national and international conferences. Over the years I have given lectures and courses on various issues concerning Natural Medicine. My interest then developed towards nutritional counselling with focus on the digestive system as the starting point of many illnesses and consequently, of their treatment.

From 1996 I began working on Colon Hydrotherapy, considering ittobe a very useful practice inthe management of the most common intestinal diseases. During these years I have revised and corrected the technique to obtain a method that is recognized as the most advanced in order toobtain an adequate bowel cleansing, and to make Colon Hydrotherapy an effective diagnostic function of the digestive system.

From 2009-2012 I was vice-president of the SICT, a scientific non-profit organization that is dedicated to the research, clinical practice, and diffusion in scientific sectors and teaching of Colon Hydrotherapy.

Currently atmy offices in Padova and Creazzo (Vicenza) my role is now as a researcher in Phytotherapy and a teacher of Colon Hydrotherapy techniques.

Content of his speech at the Congress:

The presentation deals with the influence of emotions on various intestinal tracts. How to interpret the symptoms during the practice and technique to manage and resolve intestinal blockages due to spasm.

Content of her speech at the Congress:

Obesity and its associated diseases are gaining volume of an exponential manner. Currently there are 300 million obese people and more than one billion overweight in the world. Furthermore, the number of people who have metabolic syndrome or syndrome X (which could be defined as a group of factors that increase the likelihood of developing type II diabetes due to insulin resistance and cardiovascular disease among others) also grows unstoppably.

Many of the chronic and degenerative diseases in the world today are in connection or association with the basis of alterations in metabolic functions.

In this presentation we analyse one of the major causes in this metabolic dysregulation, which is abnormal intestinal permeability.

One of the most important reasons by which we are creating a dismetabolic situation is a diet which is leading to a significant alteration of the intestine causing inflammation and altered immune responses. We will also address the role of anti-nutrients (gliadin, saponins and lectins) in the development of inflammation and intestinal permeability as well as their intestinal microbiota effect.

Congress of Nutrition and Orthomolecular (Active Cellular Nutrition Institute, 2010)

“Effects of Colon Hydrotherapy on intestinal pathology” (Study of evolution in 80 cases of candida and / or parasitosis treated with Colon Hydrotherapy and Orthomolecular Nutrition).

Content of her speech at the Congress:

Our mind is expressed through our biology, each symptom or illness tells us about an emotion that our mind has not been able to properly manage. In each organ, apparatus or system of the body, a coded information that indicates which is the origin of the disease is expressed.

That is why the colon, by the various tissues that it is made up of and different embryonic layers that it constitutes, together with the presence of a specific macrobiota, gives us the keys to understanding the clinical picture of the patient.

Knowing the relationship between the existing biological alteration and the original conflict, which is what is generally keeping active the symptom or illness, it allows us to reach the root cause to resolve the conflict and healing will be faster and more effective.

By treating psychosomatics as an adjunct in colon hydrotherapy it is observed how the patient, during a session of colon hydrotherapy when expressing or verbalizing a parasitical emotion, experiences a much deeper and effective elimination of intestinal contents.

Finally we conclude that colon hydrotherapy is an effective restorer of the necessary and beneficial saprophytic flora.

2014 Spal Leo 2LEONOR MARTÍN MONGE b-espana

Diploma in Nursing, Colon Hydrotherapy Technician, Degree in Naturopathic Medicine from the University of Barcelona, Leonor Martin has dedicated her career to help, healing and improving the health of people, with a continuing search for more effective and innovative methods. Leonor Martin is founder and director of the SPAL centre Vilassar de Mar (Maresme) which has grown from a small nursing practice in 1979 to a reference centre in its field. It is a holistic health and natural medicine centre, focused on the development and innovation of preventive methods and health improvements.

This constant work has allowed her to develop a unique approach to colon hydrotherapy and she was the first in the world to perform it with seawater. She has recently published the book ‘El sentimiento del intestino’ / “The gut feeling” (Ediciones Invisibles, 2015), where she reveals all the work that she has been carrying out in colon hydrotherapy, the intestine and health of people, both physical and emotional.

Content of her speech at the Congress:

Every time we are more exposed to multiple toxicants our gut is affected in a very direct way. Diseases arise or thrive because of the way we nourish ourselves and our habits that harm and weaken us. In today’s society, we have lost such a basic thing as is the need to purify our body from time to time. We have lost fasting or enemas, which for centuries have been practiced. The current lifestyle inexplicably renounces healthy and useful practices, and to a more than proven effectiveness.

Leonor Martín likes to talk about the gut feeling to refer to the fact that this organ clearly reflects our mood, present and past, our emotional traumas, our anxieties and sorrows. When these feelings can persist over time, they have a direct impact on our body, not only with minor discomfort, but also with diarrhea, vomiting or constipation. And a stressful life maintained over time can cause diseases like Crohn’s disease, irritable bowel syndrome, chronic constipation, colic or gastrointestinal spasms.

And it is in this area that Leonor advocates that a technique such as colon hydrotherapy is the key. It is important that we learn how as an organ, the intestine functions, that we know and learn to listen to it and to repair it.

The digestive system has a number of physical and energetic factors that link death and life.

For us, to discover, learn and experience the potential for physical, mental and emotional transformation, involving our digestive world, is fundamental for the common wellbeing.

In our talk we will share some of the most important aspects of the methodology that we apply daily, which have helped and taught us for the last seven years.

The main points are:

  1. Mobilization and abdominal re-positioning.
  2. Equilibrium and unblocking the Nadis with the opening of the Internal Winds. (D. Roc Llimargas Llop)
  3. Abdominal Acupuncture Application.
  4. Aromatherapy and the digestive system.

Sue Wilson spent 20 years in social work counselling children and families suffering from abuse and learning and behaviour disorders. She has gone on to complement this work with alternative therapies and nutrition, working with the complete system of mind, body and spirit to heal and balance people’s health.

Sue is a trained Colon Hydrotherapist and a member of the International Institute for Complementary Therapists (IICT).

Content of her speech at the Congress:

In this presentation I want to look at Colonic’s as a healing therapy, not just a procedure. Defining and redefining this therapy through the ages, where teaching of this therapy has come from an oral tradition it is easy to lose it’s essence when trying to teach the technique. Leaving us with only the procedure.

When working with colonics beyond the colon we are working with the systems that interplay with the large colon. We are working with the lymphatic system, in particular  the GALT, the nervous system, in particular the Vagus nerve, the circulatory/blood system, the energy/spiritual system, and of course the digestive, emotional and microbial system. This presentation would like to offer the opportunity to shift the paradigm of colonics, and again look at autointoxication and how when doing a colonic we are offering the body the opportunity to heal on many levels.

Content of his speech at the Congress:

The psychological aspect of the large intestine tells us of the familiar old feuds that we carry within us, of sadness, of unfinished duels… Its energy is the communication because it passes what is left outside and is connected energetically to the lung in the Metal Movement. Physically it is the honourable and sensitive sewer for both our mood as well as bodily conditions. Knowing it is to improve it and thus avoid its problems such as irritable bowel syndrome, diverticulitis, even cancer.
