Your doctor might think you\u2019re exaggerating, but you might be dealing with candida.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><b>What Is A Candida Overgrowth?<\/b><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Candida, full name <i>candida albicans<\/i>, is a type of fungus or yeast. It\u2019s actually a normal part of your gut flora, and can live in your digestive tract without causing problems. Most people have some candida in their system, but many have no symptoms or problems.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">However, if your gut flora is thrown out of balance, candida takes advantage. This is when \u201ccandida overgrowth\u201d or \u201ccandida infection\u201d occurs.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">A candida infection can\u00a0grow out of control, and produce toxins that can damage your gut. The damage then spreads throughout your body as the toxins go through the bloodstream to the rest of your body. These can cause widespread symptoms that mainstream healthcare may not be able to detect.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><b>How Do You Get Candida Overgrowth\u00a0(Or Candida\u00a0Infection)?<\/b><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Candida overgrowth\u00a0isn\u2019t just luck of the draw. It\u2019s usually one or more factors that make you vulnerable. These factors may include:<\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li>A high sugar or carbohydrate diet<\/li>\n<li>A low fiber diet<\/li>\n<li>Antibiotics and other medications that affect gut health<\/li>\n<li>Chronic stress<\/li>\n<li>Uncontrolled diabetes<\/li>\n<li>Other digestive disorders<\/li>\n<li>High chemical exposure<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">All of these factors either impair good flora, or act as a fuel source for candida growths. So put simply \u2013 you get candida by weakening your good gut flora, or feeding your candida colonies, or a combination.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><b>What Are The Symptoms Of Candida Overgrowth?<\/b><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">How do you know you\u2019re dealing with candida? One big clue is in the symptoms. Candida can cause a wide variety of symptoms. The most common include:<\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li>Recurrent yeast infections<\/li>\n<li>Oral thrush<\/li>\n<li>Fungal infections on skin or nails<\/li>\n<li>Athlete\u2019s foot<\/li>\n<li>Sinus infections<\/li>\n<li>Chronic fatigue and exhaustion<\/li>\n<li>Digestive problems<\/li>\n<li>Brain fog<\/li>\n<li>Development of food allergies and intolerances<\/li>\n<li>Poor immunity<\/li>\n<li>Moodiness and depression<\/li>\n<li>Sugar cravings<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Other symptoms may\u00a0include:<\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li>Body odor and bad breath<\/li>\n<li>Dizziness<\/li>\n<li>Unexplained nausea<\/li>\n<li>Poor memory and concentration<\/li>\n<li>Anxiety and panic attacks<\/li>\n<li>Body aches and pains<\/li>\n<li>Low libido<\/li>\n<li>Itchiness around genital area or in anus<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><b>Simple At-Home Test To Check If You Have\u00a0Yeast Infection<\/b><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">If you have many of the above symptoms, it might be worthwhile to do a simple test to know for sure if you have candida overgrowth, or yeast infection.<a href=\"http:\/\/aehidroterapiadecolon.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/12\/candida-infection-test.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-790020 size-full\" src=\"http:\/\/aehidroterapiadecolon.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/12\/candida-infection-test.jpg\" alt=\"candida-infection-test\" width=\"800\" height=\"420\" srcset=\"https:\/\/aehidroterapiadecolon.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/12\/candida-infection-test.jpg 800w, https:\/\/aehidroterapiadecolon.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/12\/candida-infection-test-300x158.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 800px) 100vw, 800px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">For a simple at-home test try the following:<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">First thing in the morning, before you put anything in your mouth and before brushing your teeth, do this. Fill a clear glass with room temperature bottled water. Be sure to use\u00a0only bottled water or distilled water. Tap water may contain chemicals that can interfere with the test.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Work up a bit of saliva, and spit it into the glass of water. Check the water every 15 minutes or so for up to one hour.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">If you see strand-like tendrils (fibers) traveling down into the water from the saliva floating on the top, cloudy specks (particles suspended in the water) or cloudy saliva that sinks to the bottom of the glass you have a candida problem.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">A \u201chealthy\u201d spit should remain floating in a nice, cohesive \u201cblob\u201d<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><b>How Can You Treat Candida Overgrowth?<\/b><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The treatment for candida may vary from individual to individual, depending on the severity. Some people will require medical intervention with antifungal drugs. However, many people can see great results by taking natural antibiotics and consuming an anticandida diet.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">This\u00a0anticandida\u00a0protocol is designed to kill candida and reduce them to a minimum, preventing them from causing problems in the body. The candida diet starves the yeast\u00a0of its\u00a0main fuel source\u2014sugar. This protocol will\u00a0help to rebuild a healthy digestive tract, so that candida growth is controlled.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><em>1. A Good Gastrointestinal Cleanse<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">A gastrointestinal cleanse in conjunction with taking the antifungal is a good way to remove the bulk of\u00a0die-off. Follow this gastrointestinal cleanse for at least three days and drink plenty of water. I cannot stress the importance of drinking plenty of water whenever you do a cleanse of any sort.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Do\u00a0this fiber drink cleanse\u00a0for up to 28 days. On the third day, if\u00a0you are eliminating completely with floating stools, it means you\u2019re ready to take on the antifungals. Do not take the antifungal until you have complete and regular bowel movements as this is necessary to eliminate the die-off yeast efficiently.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><em>2. Antifungals<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">On the third day after doing a gastrointestinal cleanse, and you\u2019re eliminating completely, start taking any of these antifungals\u00a0to kill the\u00a0candida.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">There are conventional and natural options for antifungals and they are a great help as a tool to speed up elimination.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">CanXida Remove contains 12 potent antifungals and my favorite go-to when recommending to my clients. Die-off reactions may cause low-grade fever and shivering which are normal.\u00a0Should you encounter these, reduce dosage and drink plenty of water. (Read more about die-off reactions below).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Side effects from prescription antibiotics tend to be worse\u00a0and is best avoided.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><em>3. Main Principles Of The Candida Diet<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">On an anticandida diet, you can consume:<\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li>Non-starchy vegetables, leafy green vegetables<\/li>\n<li>Drinking green vegetable juices daily is beneficial for killing yeast<\/li>\n<li>Low-sugar fruits in small amounts\u2014berries are recommended<\/li>\n<li>Proteins\u2014plant protein preferred<\/li>\n<li>Healthy fats and oils<\/li>\n<li>Gluten-free whole-grains and pseudo-grains<\/li>\n<li>Natural sugar-free sweeteners such as stevia<\/li>\n<li>Fermented foods<\/li>\n<li>Herbal teas<\/li>\n<li>Butter, yogurt and kefir<\/li>\n<li>Nuts and seeds<\/li>\n<li>Herbs, spices and sugar-free condiments<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><em>4. Eliminate Foods\u00a0That Feed Candida<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">However, there are many foods that need to be avoided while rebuilding gut health and clearing out candida. Foods to avoid include:<\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li>High sugar fruits<\/li>\n<li>Gluten-containing grains<\/li>\n<li>Processed meats such as lunch meats<\/li>\n<li>Most dairy<\/li>\n<li>Condiments with added sugar<\/li>\n<li>Processed vegetable oils<\/li>\n<li>Sugar products of any kind, including maple syrup, coconut sugar, agave<\/li>\n<li>Artificial sweeteners<\/li>\n<li>Soft drinks<\/li>\n<li>Caffeinated beverages<\/li>\n<li>Alcohol<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">These foods contribute to overgrowth and weakening of gut flora. By eliminating them, you stop feeding\u00a0candida and stunt their growth.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><em>5. Take A Probiotic Supplement Or Eat Fermented Foods<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Like antifungals, probiotic supplements can be used to speed up the process.
